Brunello is Canberra’s only exclusive restaurant & wine bar that offers a state-of- the-art Wine Enomatic experience with over 40 wines available by the glass to sample weekly from all over the globe.

Brunello’s menu is derived from our Nonna’s cooking, putting our heritage on display. It includes a wide range of unique shared plates, as well as larger dishes that typify our local region and showcase the best of Australian produce. We are proud to make everything in-house and our state-of-the-art charcoal oven produces some of the best steaks in Australia.

You can also take a tour of our champagne temperature-controlled cellar for your retail experience as well as book your private function for a special occasion in our private dining room.

Young and Passionate, yet enviously experienced meet Leonardo De Marchi Bueno. After many years slicing, dicing and enticing in the bustling Micheline starred kitchens of São Paulo, Brazil, Leo now finds himself crafting Australia’s favourite flavours to perfection.

Leo has a culinary knowledge to produce a menu that will enrapture your taste buds.

His Italian and Spanish background gifted him with the creative approach typical of the Mediterranean cuisine. He is passionate about applying techniques that respect the organic product, flavour and season, rather than complicating the dish with too many ingredients.

Throughout his career, Leo has focused on providing a high-quality dining experience, elaborating traditional recipes to take them to the next level.

Born with a love of “cibo e vino” (and rarely spotted without the latter), Italian raised Giordano has had a passion for wine since he began work on his Aunt’s Carignan vineyard at a young age.

Since then, Giordano has worked at world-class resorts across the globe, giving him exposure to an array of incredible cultures, customers and produce that have contributed to shaping his palate and hospitality outlook that prioritises the guest experiences and exceeds expectations.

Giordano is our head sommelier, and boy does he know how to orchestrate a match made in heaven between (but not limited to) our food and wine.

Giordano brings both a curated and worldly range to the patron, whilst highlighting local producers.
